There are currently two changes within the Digital Economy that are affecting the telecommunications and digital industries in Australia.
These are:
1. The build phase of the National Broadband Network which will connect over 10 million homes in 8 years.
2. The TV migration from analogue to Digital with a completion date of 31st December 2013.
Communications and Information Technology Training Ltd. (CITT) have put together an Industry Overview presentation to help explain the changes that are currently taking place within the industry. The presentation also outlines the impact the NBN Rollout and Digital Switchover will have on the industry and the changes and additional skills which will be required.
